Amazingly I opened the donkey pasture for business last week. In the 16 years I've had donks, I've never opened it in April. Three mini donkeys were sooo happy.
And yet, after I called them in, Sugar had the gall to ask me for Equine Senior. After being out on spring grass for an hour. I had to have words with her.
Yesterday was a typical calm Sunday morning. Water flowing into the water trough,
donkeys softly munching,
And then there was Henri.
Some of our chickens roost overnight on the shelf atop nesting boxes. We put newspaper on top weighted by glass jars for easy clean up in the mornings. While I'm cleaning, I put the jars in an nesting box. Henri thought it the best cozy place to cuddle up in. Briefly. What a knucklehead.
