I am not a gardener. Which among my friends is abnormal. Ah well...
I would much rather muck out a stall or clean out the chicken coop than weed. And my flower beds back me up.
But...
There are some that are fail-safe.
They are past their zenith, now, but, boy they were lovely a couple of weeks ago.
Love your photo's janet ... and you say you are not a gardener! It's all looking pretty good to me. I do love my garden and gardening, but it's trial and error for me, anything that grows is a bonus. The weeds are certainly growing well at the moment though. Apparently we are having the wettest August for many years. This might also explain the massive number of slugs we are getting (relates to your last post). They are everywhere, getting in the chicken coop in their food container and having a wonderful time munching on my home grown lettuce. Nice to see your garden, I love getting an idea of what your farm and garden looks like (just being nosey I suppose). Hope all is well with you are yours. Best wishes Louise.
Louise, I didn't show you the garden(s) that are barely visible for the weeds. I'm using my poopy knee as a partial excuse for not doing more weeding. I'm sure they'll be there next spring!
Oh my gosh! your flowers are beautiful! I've never grown a zinnia as pretty as those. I hate weeding too and most of the time let it go until the weeds have taken over.
Hi! I just came over from Henny Penny's blog and I love your sweet blog. Your donkeys are adorable :) For someone that doesn't garden you certainly have beautiful flowers. I love the purple clematis growing along the fence . . . simply gorgeous. I am your newest follower and would love to invite you over to visit my blog, too. My welcome mat is always out. Connie :)
